Today was my last day as an intern at Clear Channel. I did a little LOT of organizing of the prize closet and other things! It’s a bittersweet feeling because I had so much fun at the station and I’ll miss everyone I worked with. It was a great experience and I learned more than I ever thought I would. This internship was a fantastic idea and I’m so glad I had the opportunity to intern at Clear Channel!
When I was at the station Monday, I realized that I only have 2 days left of my internship!! Monday was an interesting day considering I got lost, again! But I’ve made improvements believe it or not! Wednesday and next Monday are going to be so fun and I’ll miss being at the station every week! But maybe these next few days won’t be the last there!
So the other day in class, it finally clicked that I am in the right major! Mass Communications was just the easy road to take because it related to my career that I wanted the most. With public relations as my concentration, it was perfect because I am good with people and talking (I could talk to a wall if you wanted me to). At Clear Channel, I sit in the studio with deejay Jag for a couple hours and he teaches me a few really cool things about audio editing. Then the other day in class, we learned about audio editing. All of a sudden, it all clicked to me! I know this may not be a big deal, but it was such a great feeling! I am so excited for whatever I will be doing when I graduate college! I might actually have my dream job down the road and that it the coolest thing to me 🙂
